Career Opportunity: Loan Originator

Our Loan Officers have the following responsibilities:

Collecting and analyzing information regarding the customer’s income, assets, investments or debts
-
Comparing and evaluating possible financial products and solutions and deciding which to recommend to customers to best meet their needs and financial circumstances
-
Analyzing all aspects of material importance in presenting a loan scenario to the customer
-
Negotiating the terms of the transaction with the customer, including rate, cost, and structure of the transaction
-
Clearly explaining conditions of obtaining financing to the customer
-
Ensuring that all transactions are conducted with the utmost integrity and in accordance with federally mandated standards
-
Negotiating terms of transactions on behalf of the customer with outside agencies
-
Selecting 3rd party vendors as necessary
-
Developing sources of business through referrals, customer retention, individual marketing efforts, etc.

Exercising significant business judgment in the resolution of customer complaints and grievances.
What we ask for:
• 1 + year of sales experience
• 2 + years of mortgage or finance experience is
preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish/English would be an asset but is
not required
