In her 15 years as a lender, Laurie Bretz has helped hundreds of people to achieve some of life's most important goals: meeting people from all walks of life and listening to their needs and desires; finding the best financing to fit their lifestyle; helping them use and understand their investment; creating better living environments in homes and communities. She has always looked for solutions. With many homes needing updating, and energy prices soaring, she has teamed up with Universal Lending to offer home renovation loans which help clients fix up their homes and achieve more energy efficient and environmentally friendly living environments. Recent events include participating in Earth Works Expo and the Eco Brokers Convention. Laurie has an excellent network of relationships with Realtors, insurance agents, financial planners, tax preparers, people who work in construction and repair of homes, especially retrofitting homes for energy efficiency. As a lender, she is consistently a top producer, earning the President's Club award from Pacific Republic Mortgage in 2004, 2003, 2002, and from Austin Mortgage in 1999, 1998, 1997. She currently works for Universal Lending Corporation, a full service lender with in-house processing, underwriting and closing. Laurie speaks Spanish, and has worked with Latino families.
