Pete Lansing founded Universal Lending Corporation in Denver in 1981. Under his leadership, the company has helped families throughout Colorado realize their dreams of home ownership for over 25 years.

Based on his reputation for knowledge and experience in the industry, Mr. Lansing is considered an expert in the field. The local news media frequently refers to him for analysis of current events in mortgage lending, and numerous industry organizations request speaking engagements in order to stay apprised of the mortgage business and their own relationship to his industry.

Mr. Lansing served as President of the Colorado Mortgage Lenders’ Association (CMLA) in 1992-1993, and in 2001, he was honored to receive the Entrepreneur of the Year award from the CMLA for his dedication to the industry and for the development of his innovative and well-respected mortgage banking business.

Universal Lending’s continued success can be traced to Mr. Lansing’s respect and dedication to his employees, and his encouragement for their personal and career development. He has personally taught "Leadership Development Program’s Mortgage 101" sales training classes, along with numerous other training and classes involving the mortgage lending industry.

Beyond the business of the mortgage industry, Mr. Lansing has made it his priority to give back to the community through programs such as the Universal Lending Foundation and Project P.A.V.E. (Preventative Alternatives to Violence through Education). He is involved with Chinese Children Adoption International, having served as Chairman of the Board and currently as a member of the Board of Directors. He is proud to have helped place more than 7,000 Chinese children with families in the United States over the past 15 years, including his own daughter.

Brad joined ULC in 1997. As Chief Financial Officer, Brad is responsible for the Accounting, Information Systems, Secondary Marketing, and Post Closing departments. In addition to supporting his departmental managers, he chairs the Company's Risk Management Committee.

Brad currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association (CMLA).  After earning a BA degree in Business Administration from Lewis College, he earned an MS in Finance at Colorado State University.  Brad is married with three children.

I began my career in mortgage banking in 1979. In 1987, I had the privilege of creating and working with one of the first wholesale lenders to have a local presence in Colorado. With the help of a fabulous team we were able to create working relationships with several mortgage brokers.

I came to work with Universal Lending Corporation in 1991. In 1993 the Wholesale Division launched a unique sales concept by introducing Community Based Underwriters. My team and I have successfully negotiated prosperous relationships with brokers resulting in the division now accounting for over 50% of the company’s production. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association and have received my CML.

Thomas Donnegan is the Vice President and National Sales Manager for Universal Lending Corporation, a Colorado-based residential mortgage banking firm.  Tom was hired by Universal Lending to manage and grow the company's retail mortgage sales force.  Tom has over 20 years of real estate lending experience and has been involved in all aspects of the mortgage industry including marketing, sales management, loan production, underwriting, and quality control.

Prior to joining Union National Mortgage, Tom was the Area Sales Manager for Union National Mortgage Co.  He has also worked as Vice President of Sales for First Community Banks, Vice President / Area Sales Manager with Countrywide Home Loans, and President / Venture Manager of a large real estate joint venture at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

Tom holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Managerial Finance and has completed extensive additional training in the areas of marketing and sales management.  He has received numerous awards throughout his career for his achievements as a manager and top-producer.  Tom was a three-time Leaders Club award winner with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and a two-time recipient of their Service Excellence award.  He was also recognized at Countrywide Home Loans for being the region's top Area Sales Manager for 2006.

The mortgage industry has raised Carol for the last 27 years. Carol is currently the Executive Director over the Crestline division.

Carol has been married for 25 years to her wonderful husband, Earl. They have 2 children (adults): Preston 22 – a recent graduate of CSU (GO RAMS) and Ashley – 19 – a Sophomore at Front Range Community College and 1 pooch: Keesha – 10 year old keeshond (50 lb lap-dog).

Carol loves to camp in her 5th-Wheel (trailer-trash), read, shop and do movie-madness with her daughter, Ashley. "I would camp 24/7 as long as there was a Wal-mart close by."

Carol and Earl looked forward to the empty nest when both kids were in college. Unfortunately it has been a revolving door of kids in and out. Hmmm…some day. Right now they enjoy the time they get with the kids and watching them grow into true adulthood.

20 Years Reverse Mortgage Experience!!

Since 1989, Paulette Wisch has specialized in Reverse Mortgages and she has worked in the mortgage banking industry since 1972.  She is a nationally recognized expert in Reverse Mortgages and has been involved in all aspects of the industry.

She was instrumental in working with FHA to bring their program to marketing and managed Colorado's FHA Reverse Mortgage pilot program for FHA in 1989.  She has traveled nationally, educating seniors and their adult children, lenders and business leaders about Reverse Mortgage products.

Paulette has personally helped over 1,600 seniors achieve financial security and independence by putting their home equity to work with a Reverse Mortgage.

I love what I do! I am dedicated to the Real Estate Industry and passionate about my profession. As a result, nearly 100% of my business is by referral from past customers, and the most trusted and experienced Realtors in the Metro area. I am a designated "Certified Mortgage Lender" through the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association; An affiliate member of a local Real Estate Board, and volunteer regularly for a non profit organization by teaching their first time homebuyer class. My personal mission is to utilize my 23+ years of experience in the Mortgage Banking business to act as a consultant to my clients and customers by providing loan options to fit their individual needs while making sound decisions to help protect their real estate investment and financial future. I strive to make the process of obtaining a mortgage as comfortable and stress free as it can possibly be and am diligent in staying current with any and all agency changes.

David has been with Universal Lending since 1994, his second stint with the company. His focus is a solid and secure technological foundation to support Universal Lending’s strategic initiatives. Stephan Lopez answers the IS Help Desk and together they provide a stellar customer service experience. With over 30 years combined experience, the Information Systems TEAM has developed extremely flexible systems, and as a result has an infrastructure that caters to a mobile and flexible sales force.
